Intelligent Optimization of Parameters for Tens of MA-Class Z-Pinch Accelerators

In order to minimize the initial energy storage of tens MA-class Z-pinch accelerators, an intelligent optimization method was developed based on transmission line code circuit model and PSOGSA algorithm. Using several input parameters, four overall parameters accelerator could be fast determined, including connection parallel combination LTD cavities, outer radius stack-MITL system, electrical length monolithic radial lines. The has been verified by comparing results with Z-300 Z-800 conceptual designs. By means this optimization, some factors that affect high-current accelerators have investigated, such as operating fields, diameter inner cavity. suggestions for designing relatively low-cost, efficient LTD-based proposed.
